Wood Stock is back! Come embrace the early fall by getting your Lumberjack on, while also helping Elderhelp supply firewood to elderly couples in our community. We will be volunteering our time to make sure there is enough firewood to go around this winter in our elderly community.

There will be three competitions, with excellent prizes, coffee and food provided by local companies, as well as memories made for a lifetime. It's going to be a great morning of camaraderie and giving back to our community!

Check In begins at 9:30am, and the first axe will fall at 10am.

Not comfortable with an axe? No problem at all! Elderhelp will be providing 12 wood splitters so that everyone can get involved. 

When you are planning your lumberfashion, please include the following items to the best of your ability: jeans, work boots, work gloves, safety glasses, Carhartt something, and a beard (fake beards allowed and encouraged!). Safety is always our priority at KCYP so attendees with open toed shoes won't be able to participate in the festivities. If you're one of the lucky few who own your own axe, maul or sledge hammer, please fee free to bring them with you.
